I’m personally interested in getting 285/70/18 all terrain tires, but have no experience with purchasing from these brands. What is the consensus, or what are the personal experiences you all have with Toyo, Wildpeak, BF Goodrich and Nitto? Aside from looks, is one better than the other?

Out of these I have only had Wildpeak AT4s. I've had them on various trail types from dirt to small rocks to the slick rocks in Moab and they performed great in each instance. On road you feel the road a bit more than a street tire and they feel more at home off road and I suppose the reason why is that's what they are designed for.

I just put the Wildpeak At/4 on mine. I live in the mountains, and these have been good to me. I had them on my 2007 and they performed great in the snow too.
They feel solid under the truck.
